No one has ever answered the phone any of the times I've ever called. Sucks to have to drive over from Galion to report minor changes or update stuff. Some of the people there are rude. There are a couple of nice ones but on the other hand I've seen some of the irate people they have to deal w, probably on a daily basis.
Please fix your dreadful phone system. Maybe hire someone there just for the phones. I have spent about 3 days calling with nothing. They never call back if you leave a massage. I even went though 10 extension numbers and just got individual voicemail's. NO one ever answers any phones anywhere in the building. Please just remove your phone system or fix it.
These people dont even deserve one star. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I was trying to apply for Medicaid because my work benefits wouldn't be beneficial for us. I had to redo my paperwork 3 DIFFERENT TIMES because every time I turned a paper in, they would end up doing something wrong on their end. Finally, everything went through so I could get Medicaid. They did a phone interview with me and asked me why I was applying for Medicaid and I simply told them Medicaid would be more beneficial for us rather than my work benefits and that I was pregnant. Later on, they told me I never told them that I was pregnant which is very untrue. Had to redo the paperwork again and finally got on Medicaid. That was about 6 months ago. After my daughter was born I filed for child support and turned all of my paperwork in. I have waited 4 or 5 months to hear something back from them about setting up a time to meet. I called them this morning to figure out why I haven't heard anything back. I was told that they have nothing on file. I am so incredibly fed up with these people. They're not organized and they also cannot be trusted with any type of paperwork.
Never answers the phone. Never calls you for your phone appointment either. Lost my food stamps because they dont do their job
Absolutely horrible at returning phone calls. Why even have an answering system if you're jot going to listen to it and return calls?!! Threatening to discontinue my benefits if I don't call within 10 days then when I do call no one calls back?!! I'm taking care of 4 children who are NOT my biological children. I get absolutely no support from either of their birth parents. Doing the state of Ohio a service by keeping these children out of foster care and this is the thanks I get. Threats of taking away our only source of food for an unknown reason. All because you don't answer the phone!!! Crawford county JFS needs a reform. Believe me, I will not stop u too someone answers my call. These children cannot go without meals. I don't mind skipping a few days, but they cannot go hungry. It's inhumane!!
